She aspired to become a social worker, a reflection of her compassionate nature.
Beyond her academic achievements, Lilly was a talented athlete, playing softball for several local teams. She was a devoted Christian who cherished her family and was considered a best friend by her three siblings.
The day of the incident, Lilly's family was participating in an annual deer drive with neighbors. The day after the court hearing, Thomas Farleigh's wife, Deborah Farleigh, was arrested and charged with felony abduction and misdemeanor brandishing of a firearm.
