Lilly Lee Patman, an 18-year-old from Amelia Court House, Virginia, tragically passed away on December 29, 2023, in a hunting incident. The young woman died while deer hunting off Eggelstetton Road in Amelia County.
The incident occurred during an annual deer drive on the property of Thomas Farleigh, a 68-year-old family friend. Patman was part of a group of six participating in the hunting event when the tragic accident took place.
