On February 14, 2024, 19-year-old Michai Dandridge-Carter was found deceased in the parking lot of the Ashburn Meadows apartment complex in Ashburn, Virginia. Responding to 911 calls around 7:19 p.m. reporting gunshots and an unresponsive individual, Loudoun County Sheriff's deputies arrived at the 44400 block of Keller Square to discover Dandridge-Carter had suffered a fatal gunshot wound.
