Margie Marie Watkins, an 82-year-old resident of Axton, Virginia, tragically lost her life on June 24, 2024, following a shooting incident that occurred on June 22, 2024. The incident took place at 2838 Sandy River Road in Axton, where Pittsylvania County 911 center received a report of multiple shootings at 2:41 pm on that Saturday.
