Christian Whalen, a 19-year-old from Fredericksburg, Virginia, tragically lost his life in the early hours of September 1, 2024, while attempting to break up a fight at a bonfire party. The gathering took place near the Hunting Run Reservoir on Spotswood Furnace Road in Spotsylvania County, on property owned by the county.
