In the quiet, age-restricted community of Sun City in Okatie, South Carolina, a grim discovery was made on the evening of March 2, 2023. Marcella Caravello, a 69-year-old female, was found deceased in her home on Sundance Lane. Concerned family members had been unable to reach her, prompting a welfare check by Sun City security, who then alerted the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office.
