On October 1, 2023, a tragic incident occurred at the Cross Creek Apartments in Beaufort, South Carolina, resulting in the death of 3-year-old Ariana Skylar Fair. The Beaufort Police Department responded to reports of a shooting and found Ariana, her mother, and her mother's boyfriend with gunshot wounds.
