On January 1, 2025, 19-year-old African American male Kayron Hall was fatally shot in New Orleans, Louisiana. The incident occurred around 7:20 p.m. in the 8500 block of North I-10 Service Road in New Orleans East. Responding officers from the New Orleans Police Department found Hall unresponsive at the scene. Emergency Medical Services transported him to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
