In the quiet community of Central, South Carolina, a young man's life was cut short on the evening of April 22, 2023. Wyatt Kincaid Short, a 22-year-old Caucasian male, was found lying in front of a residence near the intersection of Old Shirley Road and Sheriff Road with a gunshot wound to his chest. Emergency responders were called to the scene around 10 p.m., and he was quickly airlifted to a nearby hospital. Despite the efforts of medical professionals, he succumbed to his injuries.
