In the quiet, early morning hours of August 16, 2021, the stillness in Central, South Carolina, was shattered by the sound of gunshots. When Pickens County Sheriff's deputies arrived at the scene near 128 Edwards Lane, they discovered the bodies of two young men in a driveway. The victims were identified as 24-year-old Skylar Wolfgang Cary and his friend, 25-year-old Alex Mitchell Moore. Both men had been fatally shot.
