In the early hours of a Monday morning in Columbia, South Carolina, the life of 17-year-old Travis D. Jones Jr. was tragically cut short. On July 17, 2023, a cascade of gunfire erupted in the 4200 block of Wentworth Drive, near the intersection of Lorick Avenue.
