On July 17, 2023, 39-year-old Quincy Harris was fatally shot in Greenville, South Carolina. Authorities responded to a call around 12:30 p.m. and found Harris on the porch of a residence on Douthit Street, suffering from at least one gunshot wound. He was transported to Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at approximately 1 p.m.
