On February 18, 2024, 20-year-old Millanyo Antnico "MJ" Woody Jr. was fatally shot in Greenville, South Carolina. Authorities responded to reports of gunfire near Crest Lane around 12:40 p.m. and discovered Woody lying in the roadway with multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 1:28 p.m.
