On a cold December evening in Hanahan, South Carolina, the life of 24-year-old Demietrese Mack Evans, a male resident of Florence, was tragically cut short. On December 9, 2023, Evans was fatally wounded in a shooting that occurred on Remount Road, a grim event that would be ruled a homicide by the Berkeley County Coroner's Office. He was pronounced dead at a local hospital the following day, succumbing to injuries sustained from at least one gunshot wound.
