In the summer of 2019, a burst of gunfire shattered the late-night quiet of a neighborhood in Hanahan, South Carolina, leaving two teenagers dead. On the night of July 19th, officers from both the Hanahan and North Charleston police departments converged on Corner Avenue around 11 p.m. after receiving reports of a shooting. There, they discovered a tragic scene. One of the victims, 18-year-old Timothy Z. Wright, was pronounced dead at the scene.
