On December 31, 2023, a tragic shooting occurred at the Drinking Class bar in Little River, South Carolina, resulting in the deaths of 19-year-old K'Ron Eliah Fox and 20-year-old James Myron Bellamy. The incident took place around 11 p.m. during New Year's Eve celebrations. Witnesses reported hearing 40 to 60 gunshots, initially mistaking them for fireworks.
