In the early morning hours of a Tuesday in June 2019, the quiet of a Little River, South Carolina community was broken by the sound of gunfire. At a residence on Sanford Road, just off S.C. 57, a well-known and beloved member of the neighborhood, Daniel Gore, was shot. The incident occurred around 1:30 a.m., and when authorities arrived, they found the 56-year-old man had died at the scene.
