On February 5, 2024, at approximately 2:20 p.m., 47-year-old Reginald Lamont Boggs was involved in an altercation with multiple individuals on East Shockley Ferry Road in Anderson, South Carolina. During the confrontation, Boggs sustained multiple gunshot wounds from a semi-automatic handgun. Emergency services transported him to AnMed Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries on February 8, 2024.
