On April 19, 2024, 18-year-old Tyrell Kishi Epps and 19-year-old Ashton Pugh were fatally shot while sitting in a vehicle outside the Gates of Summerville apartment complex in Summerville, South Carolina. The Summerville Police Department responded to the scene and initiated an investigation into the double homicide.
