On June 1, 2024, a block party in Rock Hill, South Carolina, turned tragic when gunfire erupted around 10 p.m., resulting in the deaths of 21-year-old Maricus Dontae Kirk and 44-year-old Montest Mincey. Two other individuals sustained injuries but survived.
