In the early morning hours of a Sunday in Cheraw, South Carolina, a young Black/African American woman's life was tragically cut short. Twenty-three-year-old SaDaijah Lex'Avia Pittman, a female resident of Cheraw, was at a hotel located in the 200 block of Front Street in the downtown area on August 18, 2024, when an argument erupted. The dispute took place at the restaurant of the Springhill Suites hotel.
