On September 22, 2024, 24-year-old Marco Antonio Velazquez was fatally shot in Boiling Springs, South Carolina. The incident occurred around 10:45 a.m. on Thorn Ridge Drive, where deputies from the Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office discovered Velazquez deceased at the scene, along with two other individuals suffering from gunshot wounds.
