On May 21, 2024, at approximately 12:40 a.m., deputies from the Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office responded to reports of gunfire on Outlook Drive in Boiling Springs, South Carolina. Upon arrival, they discovered 25-year-old Kaylen Devagieo Boston of Duncan inside a vehicle that had been "shot up." Despite immediate life-saving efforts, Boston was pronounced dead at the scene.
