In the early morning hours of October 2, 2024, the quiet of the Little Rock community in Dillon County, South Carolina, was shattered by the sound of gunfire. When Dillon County Sheriff's deputies arrived at a residence on Windmill Avenue at approximately 4:01 a.m., they discovered the body of 23-year-old Daiquan Laron Blakely lying in the yard. He had sustained a fatal gunshot wound and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
