On August 6, 2024, at approximately 12:00 a.m., deputies responded to a report of a gunshot victim on Joe Drive in the Riverdale community of Dillon County, South Carolina. Upon arrival, they discovered 22-year-old Jaheem Maurice Farmer deceased from a gunshot wound. The Dillon County Coroner's Office confirmed his identity and ruled the death a homicide.
