On October 26, 2024, 21-year-old Mikell Demarquez Lance, known to many as "Glizz," was fatally shot in Longs, South Carolina. The incident occurred around 2:13 p.m. on Castlers Heights Road, where Lance was struck multiple times by gunfire. Emergency responders transported him to a local hospital, but he succumbed to his injuries shortly thereafter.
