On October 27, 2024, 30-year-old Javon La’Donte Seward was fatally shot at Shaw's Corner Store on Martin Luther King Drive in Andrews, South Carolina. The incident occurred around 1 a.m., with Seward sustaining a gunshot wound to the upper torso. He was transported to Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after 2 a.m.
