In the summer of 2017, the community of Andrews, South Carolina, was unsettled by the discovery of a local man's untimely death. Lamar Michael Thompson, a 32-year-old male, was found deceased in what authorities would quickly deem a homicide. His body was located in the driver's seat of a GMC Yukon in the rural outskirts of town, a scene that hinted at a violent end to a life.
