On January 2, 2023, 22-year-old Austin Holeman was found deceased in his home in the Scotland community of Yazoo County, Mississippi. Family members discovered his body just before 10:00 a.m. and promptly contacted authorities. Yazoo County Coroner Ricky Shivers reported that Holeman had sustained multiple gunshot wounds, indicating a homicide. His body was subsequently sent to the State Medical Examiner’s Office in Pearl for an autopsy.
