On January 10, 2023, the Greenville Police Department responded to a call in the 300 block of East Moore Street in Greenville, Mississippi, where they discovered 40-year-old Desmond McKnight deceased with multiple gunshot wounds. The Washington County Coroner's Office pronounced him dead at the scene.
