On a tragic Friday in February 2023, Chris Eugene Boyce, a 59-year-old male, found his life abruptly ended in the small town of Arkabutla, Mississippi. He was visiting from his home in Lakeland, Florida, with his brother to tend to property they had inherited from a deceased uncle. The two brothers were seated in a pickup truck outside a local convenience store when a gunman, later identified as 52-year-old Richard Dale Crum, opened fire.
