In the quiet town of Hollandale, Mississippi, a young life was tragically cut short on the evening of Tuesday, February 21, 2023. Alexis Thomas, a 17-year-old Black female, was found inside a white Chrysler 200 that had collided with a utility pole in the 100 block of Crouch Street. Hollandale Police Department officers were dispatched to what was initially reported as a car accident around 8:50 p.m.
