On November 4, 2023, at approximately 12:11 p.m., Copiah County deputies responded to a reported shooting on South Harmony Road near Hazlehurst, Mississippi. Upon arrival, they discovered the body of 59-year-old Milton Jones, who had apparently died from a single gunshot wound.
