In the spring of 2023, the life of 20-year-old Brandon Shaffer Jr., a Black/African American male from Greenwood, Mississippi, was tragically cut short. On the evening of May 31st, what should have been an ordinary day ended in a burst of violence that claimed two lives and left another individual fighting for his.
