Denarius Hayes, a 15-year-old from Edwards, Mississippi, tragically lost his life on July 14, 2023, after being shot multiple times at the Brandon Arms Apartments. According to reports, Hayes was outside with his sister when the shooting occurred. His mother, Latoya German, rushed him to Merit Health River Region in Vicksburg before he was transferred to the University of Mississippi Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries days later on July 25.
