Murdered

Patrick Townsend, a 37-year-old resident of Jackson, Mississippi, was tragically found dead on October 4, 2023. His body was discovered in the trunk of a vehicle parked outside Moe’s Diner in South Jackson. Authorities believe that he had been shot and that his body had been in the trunk for several days prior to its discovery. The Jackson Police Department responded to reports of a shooting at the diner, leading them to the grim scene where Townsend's body was located.
