On February 25, 2024, 27-year-old Gabriel DeShun Gale was fatally shot in the parking lot of the Countryside Club on Sturgis Road, north of Louisville, Mississippi. The incident occurred during an argument over a dice game, according to Winston County Sheriff Mike Perkins. Gale was transported to a local hospital by private vehicle, where he succumbed to his injuries.
