In the late hours of a Sunday in Winston County, Mississippi, a dispute over a dice game escalated into a fatal act of violence, claiming the life of 27-year-old Gabriel DeShun Gale. The incident occurred on February 25, 2024, in the parking lot of the Countryside Club located on Sturgis Road, just north of Louisville. Gale, a Black male, was shot during the altercation and subsequently transported to a local hospital by a private vehicle, where he succumbed to his injuries.
