In the early morning hours of May 25, 2024, a violent altercation at the East Gate Apartments in Clarksdale, Mississippi, claimed the life of 41-year-old Larry Johnson. Johnson, a Black male, was shot around 5 a.m. in what authorities believe was a domestic disturbance. He succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
