In the late spring of 2024, a tragic event unfolded in the small town of Lumberton, Mississippi, ending the life of 29-year-old Cody Watkins. On May 27th, Watkins was fatally shot in the chest. The incident cut short the life of a young man, leaving a community in search of answers.
