In the spring of 2021, the life of 42-year-old Lance Touchstone, a white male from the area of Lumberton, Mississippi, was cut short by gun violence. On April 21, 2021, in Purvis, Mississippi, Touchstone was killed, leaving behind a daughter, his parents, and two sisters. Graveside services were held on April 25, 2021, at Grace Covenant Cemetery in Purvis, where he was a member of the Grace Covenant Church.
