Death by Force

Rex Allen Dennis, 63, a White/Caucasian male, was found fatally shot in the early hours of September 25, 2025, in the Baxterville community of Lamar County, Mississippi, an area just outside Lumberton. Deputies responded a little after 2 a.m. to Billy Miller Road, where the Lamar County coroner later identified the victim as Dennis and pronounced him dead at 2:30 a.m. at the scene. An autopsy was pending to determine precise findings, and authorities said the weapon was recovered.
