In the late summer of 2024, the life of 32-year-old Booker T. Morment Henry was cut short by a burst of gunfire in Canton, Mississippi. The shooting occurred in the early morning hours of a Sunday, either September 14th or 15th, in the vicinity of L.C. Greenwood and Walnut Street. Following the incident, Henry was not discovered by first responders but was instead transported by a private vehicle to Madison Merit Health, where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
