In the cool autumn evening of October 27, 2024, tragedy struck in Clarksdale, Mississippi, forever altering the lives of a local family and disturbing the community. Howard Harris, a 31-year-old man, was spending his Sunday evening working on a car in the 1400 block of Choctaw Street. It was around 9:40 p.m. when the night's calm was shattered by the sound of repeated gunfire, allegedly erupting from a nearby alley.
