In the quiet community of Nunica, Michigan, the life of 41-year-old Keith Douglas Gardner was cut short on the night of January 23, 2023. At his home on 120th Avenue, a domestic situation escalated, ending in a single, fatal gunshot wound to Gardner's abdomen. He was transported to a local hospital in Muskegon, where he ultimately succumbed to his injury. His two teenage children were present in the home at the time of the incident but were physically unharmed.
