James Lawrence Pouillon, a 63-year-old anti-abortion activist, was tragically murdered on September 11, 2009, in Owosso, Michigan. Pouillon, known for his vocal and visible protests against abortion, was shot while demonstrating outside Owosso High School. He was holding a sign with a graphic image of an aborted fetus, which had been a point of contention for some in the community.
