Samuel Patrick Gartley, a 23-year-old entrepreneur from Detroit, Michigan, was tragically killed on June 5, 2023, during a robbery attempt at the Russell Industrial Center. Gartley, who worked at the building that provides space for artists, was fatally shot while on the job.
