On July 19, 2023, Roy Lee Whitson III, a 19-year-old resident of Saginaw, Michigan, tragically lost his life to gun violence. Born on May 17, 2004, he was the son of Teri McMahon and Roy Lee Whitson Jr. He had recently graduated from Arthur Hill High School and was pursuing further education in truck driving. Whitson was known for his love of basketball and rap music, and he was actively involved in his local community through St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church.
