On October 30, 2023, 38-year-old Carrie Kartaveta Golidy was shot in Muskegon Heights, Michigan. The incident occurred around 2:50 p.m. on Howden Street near East Barney Avenue. Upon arrival, officers found Golidy with gunshot wounds; she was transported to a nearby hospital. Despite medical efforts, Golidy succumbed to her injuries on November 1, 2023.
