In Saginaw, Michigan, a 19-year-old Black man named Jason Lamar Porterfield Jr. was fatally wounded in a shooting on March 21, 2024. The incident occurred at the Birch Park Apartments. Porterfield was shot in the head and succumbed to his injuries two days later, on March 23, 2024.
