In the spring of 2024, a young man's life was cut tragically short in a burst of gunfire at a Melvindale intersection. Twenty-year-old Frederick Coleman of Detroit was found in the driver's seat of his vehicle on the evening of May 9th, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds. The incident occurred around 9:50 p.m. in the area of Outer Drive and Seaway.
