On June 28, 2024, 44-year-old Omar R. Morrow was fatally shot at a Family Dollar store located at 1908 South Michigan Avenue in Saginaw, Michigan. The assailant, identified as 38-year-old Ronald Kinchin, approached Morrow and fired multiple shots, resulting in Morrow's death. The incident occurred in the presence of several witnesses.
