In the late morning of June 28, 2024, a burst of violence shattered the calm of a Family Dollar store on South Michigan Avenue in Saginaw, Michigan. Inside, 44-year-old Omar R Morrow was shot. Morrow, a resident of Saginaw, was rushed to Covenant HealthCare Cooper but ultimately succumbed to his injuries. The incident was not a robbery, and Morrow was not an employee of the store.
